Spade New York Shirt Sizing Guide
(Finish Sizes – Based on Actual Shirt Measurements)

At Spade New York, our shirts are built using finish sizes, not body measurements — so you know exactly what you’re getting. Each detail is measured around the shirt, just like it will fit when worn.

Collar Size:
This is the exact inside measurement of the collar, given in both inches and centimeters. Choose the size that matches your neck comfortably — we’ve already accounted for slight shrinkage after wash. Larger collar sizes naturally accommodate broader builds.

Belly (Waist):
Measured around the midsection of the shirt, this reflects how the shirt fits around your stomach area. This is not a stretchy fit — it’s based on finished shirt dimensions, so we recommend comparing it to a shirt you already wear.

Chest:
Measured across the fullest part of the shirt’s chest (just under the armpits). Provides structure and comfort through the upper body without feeling tight.

Sleeve Length (Shoulder to Wrist):
Unlike traditional sizing which uses back-of-neck to cuff, our chart shows actual sleeve length from shoulder seam to wrist — the most accurate way to match your real arm length.
Every shirt size shows available shoulder-to-wrist sleeve options (in inches and cm) for easier comparison with your existing shirts.

Shoulder Width, Shirt Length & Cuff:
All these dimensions are shown in both inches and centimeters. Shoulder is measured straight across, length is from back neck to bottom hem, and cuff reflects the relaxed opening of the sleeve.

Fit:
This chart reflects our Regular Fit — built for everyday wear with ease through the chest, belly, and arms. Ideal for those who want a tailored appearance without the restriction of a slim cut.

Body Measurements

“This size guide is only for those who want to customize their shirt by providing their own body measurements.”

Usa a tape measure and get help from a friend to measure your body.(Same method of Measure men,s and women’s)

  1. Neck: The neck measurement is taken around the neck with the tape resting on your shoulders. You should put one finger between the tape and the neck if you want to allow for some extra room.

  2. Chest: The chest measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your chest at the widest point. Stand in a relaxed posture and breathe out.
  3. Waist: The waist measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your waist just above your belly button. Stand in a relaxed posture and breathe out.
  4. Seat: The seat measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your seat at the widest part.
  5. Shirt Length: The shirt length measurement is taken from the top of the shoulder, close to the mid side of your neck, following your body down to the point where you want your shirt to end.
  6. Shoulder Width: Think of a line going from your armpit straight upwards to your shoulder. Measure between those two points and hold the tape measure straight.
  7. Sleeve Length: The sleeve length measurement is taken from the point of your shoulder (where you took the shoulder width measurement), following your bent arm down to where you want the sleeve to end. NOTE 2! This measurement is always the full length of the arm. For short sleeve and 3/4 sleeve you should still measure the full length of the arm.
  8. Bicep: The bicep measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your bicep.Keep relex your bicep during Measure.
  9. Forearm: The forearm measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your forearm.
  10. Wrist: The wrist measurement is taken as a circumference measurement around your wrist. NOTE ! We will add movement ease according to the cuff you select.
